This another really fine Scottish glass paperweight which I am currently listing. As you can see it is beautifully made and was created by Strathearn Glass in the 1970s.
It is a more unusual one with its use of pastel shades - embellished with bright blue and yellow canes.
The ground is a pretty pale sugar-pink colour. The decoration has a central flattened pink millefiori cane surrounded by a lemon-yellow rosette. There are a total of 10 full-length white latticino ribbons issuing from the rosette. In between each ribbon is a triangular placement of millefiori canes in purple, blue and white. There is a pontil mark on the base.
It is in lovely condition - with no damage. Again, it is a most attractive vintage Scottish glass paperweight.
It measures 2 3/4 inches in height with a diameter of 3 inches. The weight unpacked is 500 grams
The paperweight is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
