This is a strange little vintage set of salt and pepper pots in the shape of a pair of little red apples.
They are slightly kitsch in design and are made of old hard plastic.
They date to the 1960s - and each pot or shaker has a little white plastic stopper in the base.
Each red apple is marked on the side with the letters S and P - a little rubbing to the letters - but apart from that, they are quite fine.
They come with their original pale yellow stand - which takes the form of a little apple box - used to store apples in on the way to market.
Probably these are now rare survivors - especially in the basket.
The tray is 5 x 2 ½ inches, and with a height of 1 ¾ inch.
Probably items for the cruet set collector - or someone who likes to collect quirky apple-related objects.
