This is a lovely vintage 1970s glass table lamp. It has a vibrant orange glass exterior and the interior is made of cased white glass.
It looks like it might be Danish in origin - and made by a company like Holmegaard. However, further research has revealed to me that this is actually a vintage French lamp - and made by a company called Vianne VV. They were obviously looking to Scandinavian glass lamps for inspiration for this one.
These Vianne glass lamps are very collectable.
Vianne Glass Company of France, founded in 1928 was amongst the biggest glass companies in France. Vianne produced hand-blown glass and was the last surviving glass company in France to do so. Sadly, the company closed in 2005 due to strong competition around the world and other issues that impacted its sales.
My lamp is in lovely vintage condition with no damages - and I have owned it for many years (since about the 1980s and until recently it has been stored in my loft). It takes a modern bayonet bulb - please select a low-wattage bulb to keep the glass cool.
The lamp is 8 3/4 inches in height and at the widest point has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches.
It will have to be posted to you as a medium size parcel with the Royal Mail - this will be applied to your order at the checkout.
