This is a unique piece of mid-century Danish Art Pottery.
I am not sure of the maker of this substantial vase - but you can just make out on the base an impressed mark which reads DENMARK, as photographed.
The vase has been hand-thrown with brown clay and then covered with a thick cream glaze. There are simple decorations of abstract trails in green and brown.
A great display piece - it stands at 12 1/4 inches in height - and is 7 1/2 inches at its widest point.
Weights a stonking 2.4 kg unpacked.
