This is a collectable old confectionary tin. It dates to the late 1950s. Holland's were probably best known for their Everton Toffees.
The tin was takes the form on a black coloured dice with white spots. The inside lid reads: Best on Earth / Holland's Toffee Southport England.
The lid is hinged and in good condition. The tin is in generally good condition - there are a couple of little dents, commensurate with age (it seems that many of these dice tins that survive have some form of denting - so perhaps it is a design fault). But it is generally in good condition and nice and clean. The worst dent is a little line on the siz face - I have photographed this for you - it looks more severe in my photos than in "real life".
It would have originally been given as a gift, probably at Christmas, and would have contained a selection of tasty toffees. After the contents were consumed, the tin would be used to store little objects in - my tin contains a set of 28 vintage dominoes - how appropriate with their black colour and white spots.
The tin measures: 10 cm (cubed)
