This is a very attractive vintage Glasform vase designed by John Ditchfield. It is a more unusual shape - being rather like a goblet with a tall stem section.
It is fully signed on the base: Glasform / John Ditchfield and was the issue number 9062. It also has its original paper label as photographed.
It has the most beautiful bright green colour with at the body section in a blue and darker green lustre shades. There are also trailed feathered swags on the bowl section of the vase. It is certainly very eye-catching and a more unusual Ditchfield vase. Obviously, Ditchfield has been looking at earlier Tiffany pieces for the design of the shape, the lustres and the feathered decorations.
I have taken lots of photos for that you can see all the variations on the lustre finish from different light sources.
It has no damages. A fine piece from the Ditchfield studio range - which offers more unique pieces. It is certainly a star of a display piece.
Dimensions: The height is 10 inches. It has a diameter of 5 inches at the widest point. The base has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. It is 1.2 kg in weight unpacked.
