This is a much rarer Royal commemorative - made in 1888 to celebrate the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Edward VII (then the Prince of Wales) and his Danish wife, Alexandria.
It is much more common to find items of this type celebrating his coronation in 1902 - and these earlier pressed glass plates for his Silver Wedding celebrations are much rarer.
It is a lovely shallow bowl which measures 9 1/4 inches square - and has a height of about 2 inches.
Unpacked it is about 530 grams in weight. To post safely to you, the final packed weight will be about 2kg.
As you can see from my photographs - it is certainly a very attractive piece of antique Royal memorabilia - the plate reads: The SILVER WEDDING OF THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES. / Long Live Our Prince / Long Live Our Princess / 10th March 1888.
In the middle are the Prince of Wales feathers and the words: Ich Dien and 1863 / 1888.
I have photographed both the front and back for your inspection.
The glass is pressed with little hobnail texture - and this helps it twinkle in the light.
It is in good antique condition with no cracks or nasty chips - a beautiful and rarer display piece.
