This is a nice larger sized vintage 1960s Glass Clown to add to your collection. This one is made by Murano Glass - and is a nice detailed one.
He is very quirky and a crazy looking one - with his huge oversized white bow and a strange white and red mouth.
Mr Clown - wears a black top hat. He has a massive sticky out bow around his neck (no breakages which give his age and its fragility is just totally amazing! ). He wears a tutti frutti jumpsuit - in clear glass with white, orange and red inclusions. Thee big cherry red buttons - white gloves and red cuffs. Big black feet.
His face is just really daft looking - his head is made of a clear amber with white opaque glass eyes and mouth - with red glass details - and the shadow from his black hat from certain angles make it look like he is wearing a little black mask.
He is a fine larger example - coming in at some 12 3/4 inches, and is 6 inches wide. Weight unpacked is 1.5 kg.
My asking price is a fair one for a clown of this size and condition.
Of course - like all my other items in store - he is in excellent, damage free condition.
