This is an attractive serving tray by Villeroy and Boch. It is the 1980s Granada design which was in production for only 3 years, 1983 - 1986.
I also have an oval one listed and a set of collectable stacking soup bowls with handles.
It is a nice sturdy ceramic serving tray or platter - great for serving canapes from at an event or special occasion - or for use as a cheese platter base. It can of course also be used to carry and serve plates and drinks from
It has a red glossy glaze which turns darker (almost black) towards the rim. A great Christmas colour - for serving festive treats. Like all Villeroy and Boch ceramics - it is a quality item.
It has its original gold sticker on the base as photographed.
A nice larger size. It is 12 inches in diameter.
In perfect condition with no damage or any kind. I dont think that it ever has been used.
