This is a fabulous and completely stunning 1930s Art Deco Mirror.
It is in excellent condition and wonderful on display.
The mirror has a geometric border in matt gold and frosted white glass at the bottom. There are a pair of tall striped additional wings at each side - and to the top, there are crow-step gable shapes as a decorative device feature.
It has no damage or chips. The silvering of the mirror is complete with no dark shadows on it, tarnish or spotting. There are no chips or scratches to the mirror surface.
The mirror has a heavy and thick hardwood backing. It has its original heavy-duty metal hanging hooks. All the original clips holding the mirror front to the wooden backing board are present and without issues.
There is also an old paper label on it - now discoloured with age. You can just make out the date of the mirror on the label - this is for 1937. I have photographed the label for your inspection.
My mirror is a nice large size - and would look perfect hanging above a fireplace in an Art Deco living room or parlour.
With all the reflections it has been very difficult to photograph, so I hope that my photographs do it justice.
It is a very substantial item with a lot of weight to it.
These original old 1930s mirrors in this super condition are much sought after. This one is certainly a most attractive one. You will not regret this purchase!
