This is an interesting 1940s Sylvac Style Snub Nose Rabbit.
It dates to the 1940s - indeed I can be quite specific as it seems to have been signed inside in pencil with the production date: 27th July 1940. Not sure how they managed to do this - but it is photographed for your inspection.
This rabbit is probably slip cast from a mould - and the walls making up the figurine are thinner and a little more delicate than you might find on Sylvac or Denby issues.
It is a drab green colour with big black and red painted eyes. It has an old piece of yellow felt applied to the bottom which was added to stop the figure from scratching you
It is a nice larger piece measuring some 7 3/4 inches in height.
It has no damage, chips, or cracks.
I am not sure who the maker is - as many British companies at this time copied the 1930s Sylvac Models. This one is not marked Syvlac on the base - so it is probably one of those derivative models. It is however a harder-to-find issue and looks great on display. It is priced accordingly.
To keep it safe in transit will pack it in a larger box as a medium-sized parcel with Royal Mail Recorded. This will cost £6.95 and applied to your order at the checkout.
