This is a large hand decorated shallow dish from the Tenara range by Royal Copenhagen.
The design is by Marianne Johnson and features a large stylised peacock in a garden of flowers.
A nice large size - and will look just delicious on a beautiful piece of Danish teak or rosewood furniture - or mid century coffee table.
It is a large example and measures 23 cm square (9 inches). The edge is 1 1/2 inches in height.
Fully marked to the base, as photographed.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks - some very light surface scratching to the design on the top in confined areas - not major and can only be seen in raking light and when the plate is titled to look for them. These minor blemishes are reflected on my very fair asking price for this large piece of vintage Copenhagen pottery.
