This an attractive 1980s piece of Scottish Glass, probably by Perthshire Glass. I certainly do not think that it is a MONART or VASART vase, and it is later in creation.
It has been hand-blown, so is still a unique piece. It has a raised ground pontil as you might expect to fine on earlier pieces - but no wear on the base associated with it being older.
All the same, this is a lovely piece of vintage Scottish glass - it is a bulbous thistle-shaped vase with a slightly flared rim. It has the typical raised pontil mark on the base.
The globular section at the base of the lamp is a mottled pale pink glass - with some swirls where the pink colour blends into speckled green at the top section. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
Dimensions: Height is 7 inches. The diameter at the top is 5 1/4 inches. It is 850 grams unpacked.
