This is an attractive vintage theatre programme for the Pavilion Theatre in Liverpool.
It dates to December 1951.
The cover would look good framed - and shows a lady in a glamour outfit and dancing. The theatre curtain is seen rising in the background.
The cover is very strange as the performance is not related to the actual performance - which you can see is Tennessee Williams' "A Street Car Named Desire".
Although entitled a theatre programme - it is really more of a leaflet - it is one sheet folded - as photographed.
But a lovely printed image - which will look good framed - especially if you collect items related to the history of Liverpool.
The theatre was built in 1908 at was sited at Lodge Lane.; by the 1960s it was no longer functioning as a theatre - and had been renovated as a bingo hall.
More information can be found on this website about the history of the building - and interestingly it has an image of this very programmed illustrated in the text.
