This is an attractive 1970s Mdina paperweight.
It is a more unusual one in that it is an exceptionally large size. It has an engraved signature to the base: Mdina.
It has a lovely striped pattern with patches of ochre yellow dots and diagonal streaks - set in a bright turquoise blue glass body - like the sand and the sea and taken from colours found in the Maltese landscape.
Dimensions: Height is 3 1/2 inches. And the diameter at the widest point is 4 3/4 inches. It is about the same size as a small canonball.
Yowzah! The weight unpacked: 1.9 kg. It is in excellent condition, with no damage. Probably an item for the more specialist Mdina glass collector. My asking price is reflected in its large size.
It would have to be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked (Medium Parcel). This would be applied to your order at the checkout.
