This is certainly a very stunning and large paperweight to add to your collection.
It was made by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006). This one is very large magnum size (almost the size of a cannonball) and was made to celebrate the year 2000. It is called Millennium Voyager. It is number 68 out of a limited edition of just 250 pieces.
It is multi-coloured with a dark inky blue ground which has sandy textured orange sprinkles. The number 2000 in orange-red rests on the base ground. Above near the top we have a carefully shaped controlled air bubble with a pointed top. This floats in wispy trails of gritty white and ribbon-like purple trails.
The blue colour from the base ground sweeps up the reverse of the weight as a coloured blush. As you can see from my photographs a very exuberant and masterful paperweight. Size-wise it is certainly a bit of a beast.
It is of course in excellent condition with no damages.
The height is 4 inches and with a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The weight is 1.8 kg.
I will send this larger weight to you with Royal Mail Tracked (Medium Parcel). This will be applied to your order at checkout.
