This is certainly a very stunning paperweight to add to your collection.
It was made by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass, Colin Terris (1937 - 2006).
This one is VERY large Magnum size (almost the size of a cannonball) and was made to celebrate the year 2000 - it is called MILLENNIUM VOYAGER.
It is number 68 out of a limited edition of just 250 pieces.
It is multi-coloured with a dark inky blue ground - which has sandy textured orange sprinkles. The number 2000 in orange-red rests on the base ground - above near the top we have a carefully shaped controlled air bubble - with a pointed top - and this floats in floating trails of gritty white and ribbon-like purple trails.
The blue colour from the base ground sweeps up the reverse of the weight as a coloured blush. As you can see from my photographs a very exuberant and masterful paperweight... and size-wise it is certainly a bit of a beast.
It is of course in excellent condition with no damages.
About the size of a cannonball - The height is 4 inches and with a diameter of 4 1/2 inches.
The weight is 1.8 kg - so it is for UK delivery only, and probably going to have to send to you with Parcelforce48 as a larger sized parcel. This will cost £10 and will be applied to your order at checkout.
