This is a fabulous large model of a seated Russin porcelain polar bear.
It is a vintage example and dates to the 1970s - and is a really large example. It measures some 11 1/2 inches in length - with a height of 10 1/2 inches.
It has had some red felt applied to the base of his paws - so that the figurine does not scratch your furniture when on display. Underneath - you will fine its Lomonosov mark (in blue) and the words Made in the USSR. I can easily removed the felt pads it you wish - just let me know.
A mighty beast - coming in at 2 kg unpacked. So he would have to be sent to you with Parcelforce24 - and very carefully packed to survive the journey to you intact. He is on offer here at a very fair price.
Mr Bear is lovely vintage condition with no damages or condition issues. Great display piece - he is certainly very eye-catching.
