This is a sweet little floral pattern - it dates from 1961 and was designed by John Russell for Midwinter.
The red rose on the plates is certainly very pretty - and would make a quirky alternative Valentine's gift - and of course last longer than a real bouquet!
Each piece is a lovely condition with no damages.
The matt black Midwinter cups are often very sought after to complete other sets such as Nature Study or Tonga patterns - and this one has an impressed Midwinter mark to the base.
I also have seven trios also listed in this pattern in my Iconic Edinburgh Online store. Each trio is priced at £10
Each side plate is 7 1/2 inches in diameter and works out at a bargain £4 for each plate offered here.
All are in perfect condition with no crazing to the glaze and of course no chips etc.
My price on this listing is for all five side plates (making them a bargain price of just over £5 each).
Of course, good postal discounts would apply with postage totalled up at cost to post to you.
