These sweet vintage designs from the Norwegian Lotte range are now highly collectable.
Dating to the 1960s, the pattern was designed by Turi Gramdstadt Oliver, who initially trained in ceramics at the Norwegian Academy of Craft and Art Industry and then at the Crafts School in Bergen. She subsequently worked as a designer in the Figgjo Flint factory from 1960 to 1980.
She created many of their most famous and loved designs. After leaving Figgjo Flint, she concentrated on textile designs.
I am offering here three nice pieces of Lotte design items - all features Turi's sweet images of little figures in a garden setting all printed in blue - with green highlights.
All pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
First of all we have the larger oblong serving dish decorated with a man and lady in a garden surrounded with flowers. A little bird perches on the lady's arm. It has an abstract decorative border which matches the border on my plates.
The serving dish would be great for summer sandwiches. It measures: 11 1/4 inches by just under 7 1/2 inches. It is about an inch high. I am listing it priced at £45 - this is a fair price as these sandwich plates are harder to source.
It comes with two identical round side plates - these are 6 3/4 inches in diameter. They feature another pretty lady in a garden - she is reclining and rests on her elbow. She is having a picnic and has tea items on the ground in front of her. So the serving plate for sandwich or cake delights - and the plates to serve these treats onto. Again both in excellent vintage condition. I am listing these at a bargain price of £10 each plate.
They will probably have to be sent as a medium size parcel due to the weight. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
