
This is a fine Norwegian bottle vase made by Arnold Wiigs Fabrikker. The company was founded in 1943 in southern Norway, and was active until 1977. It employed distinguished designers such as Otto Mulders, Ruth Mäkelä, and William Knutzen.
This is a fine piece of stylish Danish Art Pottery. It is fully marked on the base, as photographed. The vase is an attractive matt blue colour with black bamboo inspired lines all over the surfarce. The interior is a brighter blue colour. It is reminiscent of a similar design in white and black made by Jessie M. Tait for Midwinter in 1956.
This is a fine studio bottle vase is in fine vintage condition with no damages. It is just under 11 inches in height - and has a tall, slender shape. It is a fine piece for display - and obviously will look amazing on a Scandi-modern bureau or cabinet; or indeed any other stylish mid-century interior.
