This is a very nice original issue made in the late 1960s (I had one given to me when I was at primary school then).
This is a savings bank or money box takes the form of a globe of the world.
The globe is a clear scarlet red plastic - which is printed with the continents in gold.
It is excellent, damage free condition.
It comes with its original key (these were often lost).
It was made in Finland (as were many of these vintage banks. It was made to be marketed and given to customers of the EDINBURGH SAVINGS BANK. TSB
These banks were given out to children - to encourage them to save.
Height is 4 inches (the diameter is the same)
