This is a really lovely original etching and aquatint by the artist John Brunsdon (1933 - 2014).
It shows a view of the Yorkshire Dales and has been made in etching and aquatint.
This view of the Dales - reminds me of the current work being produced in the same area by David Hockney - both artists have a fascination with the patterns of the fields and trees seen from a distance - although Brunsdon uses a much more subtle palette to depict the landscape.
It is signed in pencil, titled and with the edition number in pencil below.
Dimensions: mage size 44.5 x 58.5 cm
It is No. 5 from an extremely small edition of 10. It is annotated by Brunsdon in pencil: Artist's Proof.
It is a large print and is sold unframed with Parcelforce48.
Printed on a heavy wove paper - it is a nice clean image - with no fading or condition issues.
A very subtle print with lovely fine colouring and abstracted shapes - I hope that my photographs do this lovely work justice. It looks much better in "real life" than in my images.
