These are a fabulous PAIR of vintage Edinburgh Gin and Tonic Glasses - they are a fine matching pair of vintage glasses.
I have a total of five glasses (as photographed). I am selling these as two separate pairs and a single glass.
I have priced each glass at £25 - given the intricate design and their age.
These are more unusual glasses to find with their shorter stem- and I believe that these were originally designed as gin and tonic vessels - but could also be used as red wine glasses.
They would certainly be good for sitting out in the garden and sipping some refreshing summer gin cocktails from
Each glass is signed with an etched mark. This is on the foot of each glass and it is the old Edinburgh & Leith mark - which dates to the years 1927 - 1939.
The bowl of each glass is beautifully engraved with an all-over criss-cross pattern with two horizontal parallel lines near to the rim. I have been unable as yet to identify the pattern - but it will be an older one. So nearly 100 years old - hard to believe!
Both glasses are in good vintage condition with no damage.
They are just under 4 ¾ inches high, with a diameter of just over 3 ¼ inches. The foot is 2 3/4 inches in diameter.
UK Postage will cost £5.50 Recorded Post with the Royal Mail. This will be applied to your order at the checkout.
