This is a very attractive paperweight by Scottish glass maestro, Paul Ysart.
It was made when he was working for Harland Glass Studios, and as such is signed below with an H cane.
A really special weight and of course in excellent condition with no damages.
The weight has an attractive base ground of a scrummy sugar pink colour.
I love the flower in the centre of the weight - this flower is made from five lilac and blue petals - with emerald green leaves below.
Around the edge of this weight are 16 half-length white latticino canes, all very carefully placed.
I hope that my photographs do this lovely paperweight justice.
It is in lovely condition with no chips or damages. Any white lights on my photographs are reflections from the glass and not on the weight. There are a couple of very minor age related scratches on the base which are commensurate with age and being moved.
Ysart paperweights are very sought after, so my asking price for this one is a very fair one.
Dimensions: diameter is just under 3 inches and the height is about 2 1/4 inches.
