This is probably an item for the specialist collector of early Poole pottery.
This is a rather early piece which date to the 1920s and is stamped to the base: CARTER, STABLER, ADAMS.
It is a one-piece footed bowl - I think that it might have been originally designed as a grapefruit bowl - but today would be fine to use as little bon-bon dish or serving bowl- or just for your Poole display.
It has a fantastic Art Deco - abstract zig-zag pattern on the exterior. The interior has a nice lilac pastel coloured eggshell glaze and little stripes around the rim and foot.
The diameter is about 5 inches.
These little 1920s bowls are now quite hard to find - and my asking price for this one with its attractive abstract pattern is certainly a fair one.
