This is a more modern issue of the class Kaiser Idell Desk or Office Lamp. It is still produced and currently retails with the Fritz Hansen company for around £650.
This one is in lovely pre-loved condition. It has no damages of any kind - and is in "as-new" condition. It has all the original labels still inside the shade.
It has a thin black cloth cable. The on-off switch is on the base, and is made of chrome metal with a white plastic button. The lamp upstand can be angled up and down - and the shade also can be angled up and down, as slightly from left to right.
I love the shape of the shade - it has the words ORIGINAL KAISER IDELL embossed in metal on the exterior bulb holder section, as photographed.
It would just take up to 60 w bulb (or an LED one). The bulb would be a standard screw in one.
The overall height is about 18 1/2 inches. The diameter of the shade is just under 8 1/2 inches. The diameter of the base is just over 7 inches.
This is a beautiful quality lamp and always much sought after piece of classic modern design.
It is over 2 kg in weight - this lovely lamp will have to be posted with Royal Mail Medium Parcel. It will also be fully insured against loss or damage in transit.
