This is a pretty shallow bowl made by the Scottish Glass company Monart.
This one is made of an attractive aqua green colour with lots of swirls - and gold and black flecks of aventurine around the edges.
It has a raised pontil mark on the base (as photographed) - this would have originally had a round Monart paper label - but sadly this has gone missing over the years.
It is an attractive size for display - measuring 8 inches in diameter and with a height of just over 2 1/4 inches.
It is a fine display piece. It is in great condition with no chips or cracks.
