This is a fine piece of iconic mid-century Scandinavian design.
It is a traditional Norwegian lidded deep casserole pot with original chrome metal handles attachment.
The pot is made of metal decorated with lovely enamels - with its traditional drab green / on-trend mustard colour and white abstract Lotus pattern.
These pieces of Catherineholm are now so associated with Norwegian design - that they currently feature on posters and tea towels as design icons. My price reflects how fashionable and sought after these classic pieces of Norwegian enamel kitchenwares now are. This one is in lovely condition as you can see in my photographs.
There are no nasty scratches, dents or chips on the enamel, the interior is nice and clean with no staining. There is one tiny scratch of the enamel near the base and on the black base section - very small indeed.
Dimensions: the main pot is 8 inches in diameter. From handle to handle it is 11 1/4 inches. The height of 5 1/4 inches (excluding the lid).
