This is an attractive Mexican Silver Hinged Bracelet, probably dating to the late 1970s or 1980s.
It is signed inside: TAXCO / Mexico / 925
The design is typical of modernist Mexican bracelets with its abstract, almost Brutalist form - it has a rigid geometric pattern all around contained between plain raised bands - top and bottom.
The bracelet has a sturdy hinge on one side - it is sprung loaded and snaps shut - and it held in place at each open end of the bracelet with concealed magnets inside. This makes it very easy for you to put on - no faffing about with clasps and hooks!
The bracelet has a lot of silver content - and the bracelet itself is nice and thick. It has 58 grams of silver.
It is probably an item for a slimmer or more medium-sized wrist. It measures as follows: 7 x 6.5 cm in diameter (slightly oval shape) and the height is 2.2 cm. Please check that this will not be too tight for you before ordering.
This bracelet is in good vintage condition with no damage. It comes with a little fitted gift box - as shown.
