This is a stylish vintage "Party" Pattern larger coffee cup, saucer and side plate. I have six of these available in total. This list is for a total of FOUR SETS, each made up of the three pieces.
I am also listing another PAIR of Westman Party Trios, as well as a Teapot, Milk Jug and Open Sugar bowl. I have size of these trios in total.
The pattern was designed by the Swedish ceramic artist, Marianne Westman (1928 - 2017). It has the Rorstrand mark to the base as photographed. The mark is very light on each piece - a very pale silvery grey colour.
The design was first produced in the early 1950 and is a fine example of minimalistic Scandinavian mid-century design. These pieces are very rare and are now highly sought after. The pattern consists of bands of styliseed tulips that are depicted in slate grey and dull mustard shade. There is a tiny black dot on each flower representing the stems.
All my Party Trios are in perfect condition with no damages. They are listed at £60 each set - which reflects the rarity of these pieces and the importance of Westman as a designer. These are museum quality pieces.
The cup measures 2 1/4 inches in height. It has a diameter of 4 inches (and is the same shape and size of the Mon Amie ones). The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the side plate is 7 1/2 inches.
