I love these cute little Robert Harrop models.
This is a sweet one and a much larger size - which comes from the Camberwick Green series.
This one shows Peter Hazel and Mrs Dingle in the Post Office.
They are sorting out parcels - and on the desk in front of them are a bundle of letters - with parcels and the postman's sack in front.
A little white dog has jumped up to see the postman - as they do!
It is an old-fashioned post office and Mrs Dingle also sells provisions to the village - behind her is a counter with big jars containing dried goods - as well as big rounds of cheeses and hams.
I love the little length of linked sausages on the end of the counter - not sure how these have survived the doggie's attention. Perhaps he has got the bottom one?
It is in excellent condition with no damages.
It comes with its original box - which is not pristine - but in pretty good condition for its age - no nasty tears or damages to the box.
An interesting figurine - and these are now getting to be hot collectables.
Great gift for a postman - or someone who has a village post office - or indeed just someone who deals with a lot of parcels... lol... like me!
It has all the issue details on a sticker on the base.
A nice larger model - measuring 7 x 6 x 5 1/2 inches.
It is quite a heavy item - and will be over 2kg when all carefully packed up to send to you - so sadly for UK delivery only.
