This is a very charming little figurine that was originally released as one of the series of Months of the Year. This series was modelled by Freda Doughty for Royal Worcester.
This cute composition is entitled September.
There is also a later variant - entitled Snowy; and a rarer issue in that the boy is wearing red shoes. This is also available in my Iconic Edinburgh Online Store.
This one shows a little boy child dressed in a matching sun hat, shorts, and tie. His summer scandals are on this model - a sky-blue colour. He plays with a beautiful white cat, called Snowy.
It has a black Worcester mark on the base - which dates to around the 1950s.
It is of course in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
The little figurine measures about 4 1/2 inches in height.
