This is a pretty little miniature beaker or small glass-footed vase.
It is certainly a very wee piece - with a most unusual shape - with small foot on the base.
It is made from blown glass and has swirls of ribbon trails running all around the bowl and foot in white - with little edges of yellow and gold colours.
The main body colour is clear and it is sprinkled with lots of little gold aventurine flecks through all the clear sections - which makes the little glass vessel fairly twinkle when held up to the light.
It is certainly a good quality piece of vintage Italian glass - I think by Salviati.
It is of course all hand made and hand blown - with a rough pontil underneath on the foot.
It is a diminutive size and a great display piece for your collection.
It is 7.8 cm in height (3 inches). The diameter at the top is just over 2 inches.
