This is a lovely and highly decorative screenprint which dates to 1965.
It is from a very small limited edition of only six impressions ever made - this one is No. 2.
It is signed in pencil lower right: Stuart Barrie.
I am not sure who the artist is - but I think that it might be a certain Mr Barrie - who was married to the listed Scottish artist, Mardi Barrie.
He was born in 1925 - and is better known as a typographer and engraver. He studied at Edinburgh College of Art.
It is a very attractive screenprint - in excellent condition. It would look fabulous hung in a mid-century modern interior.
It is sold framed with a thick white wooden frame and new fresh window mount - all ready to hang on your wall.
A rare survivor from the 1960s - and from such a small edition.
Image size: 31 x 31.5 cm. Frame size is 44 x 56 cm
Listed at a very fair price for such an attractive work.
