This is certainly a very fine vintage Scottish paperweight to add to your collection.
It was made by the glass maestro at Caithness Glass by Margot Thomson
This one is called Chrysalis and is CT-800.
It is number 50 from a limited edition of just 750 pieces (closed at 718).
It has the etched edition number and title on the base.
This lovely weight has a crystal clear main body colour with controlled air bubbles in the center and an emerald green tint to this area - there is a flat circular faceted viewing window to the front.
It is of course in excellent vintage condition with no damages - and measures 3 inches in height, so a nice larger sized weight.
