This is a most lovely piece of genuine Monart Glass.
It is a very large bulbous piece (SA Shape).
The colours are very pretty - there is a mottled grey-sky blue colour to the base - this travels up the main body of the vase and turns into a plain sugar pink to the rim. The transition area very subtle - and where the colours change you have coloured swirls (or purple, pink and amber) and sprinkly of gold aventurine flecks all over the swirled area. I have photographed these for you.
It dates to around the 1930s. It has the typical raised Monart polished pontil mark on the base, as photographed. Sadly the original paper label is no longer present. These were often washed off the base area over the decades.
It measures 7 inches in height and at the widest point, it is 6 inches. The rim is under under 5 inches in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
