This is another lovely Scottish glass paperweight that I am currently listing on my Iconic Edinburgh online store. v
As you can see it is beautifully made and was created by Strathearn Glass.
This Strathearn paperweight dates to the 1970s and has a more unusual lime green base colour. The canes are beautifully placed with eight fine and delicate spiral latticino twists, which radiate like spokes from the central rosette.
The central millefiori rosette is white and tangerine orange. The latticino twists are white - and in between each twist and more vibrant millefiori canes. The weight has a little polished pontil mark on the base - and its original Strathearn paper label.
A very attractive vintage Scottish glass paperweight.
It measures 1 3/4 inches in height with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches.
The paperweight is in good vintage condition and displays well. The dome is slightly more egg-shaped, as you can see in my photographs. This is taken into consideration with my pricing.
