This is a lovely vintage Caithness Glass paperweight made by Alastair MacIntosh in 1993.
It is titled on the base: DIABELO.
It is a nice large size - and is 2 3/4 inches in height - with a diameter of 3 inches.
The weight has lilac-purple and a scarlet red swirl inside - from which issue about 14 glistening clear glass controlled air bubbles.
It is in good condition with no chips or scratches - a little wear to the base - commensurate with age and being picked up and put down over many years - not disfiguring in any way.
This is a fine Scottish weight - no longer made and looks great on display.
