This is a decorative paperweight design by Alistair Macintosh. It is called Fiesta and it dates to 1988. The title is etched on the base.
The weight is ball-shaped and made of a heavy clear glass sphere. It has inside lots of elongated air bubble that rise from the bottom of the weight to the top - they are shaped a little like bananas (but not yellow in colour). These air bubbles are lime green, speckled pink and speckled white. There are also lots of little fine green embedded wavering horizontal lines near the base. It is very organic in design.
The paperweight measures 3 inches in diameter and with a height of 2 3/4 inches - so a nice large size. Coming from an unlimited edition - it has a lower price attached to it and it is a nice starter piece for your collection of Scottish paperweights.
It is in good vintage condition - with no chips, scratches or damages.
