Here are two little Scottish porcelain bird figurines. Both of these were made at Arran Pottery. The Pottery specialized in fine stylized models of animals and birds native to Scotland. They are made of fine porcelain with a matt finish. They are finely modelled and very delicate so easily damaged. All the ones that I am listing are in excellent, undamaged condition.

These two are the Gannet and the Artic Tern.

Arran Pottery was founded in the early 1970s by the renowned Scottish potter Alastair Dunn. The pottery began producing porcelain miniatures and wildlife figures from the workshop at Kings Cross on the Isle of Arran. These are original figurines of bird models that have the Arran stamp or labels on the base, as photographed.

Alastair Dunn continued to make these models throughout the 70s,  until his death in 1986. They were very popular with tourists to Arran and are now much sought after by collectors. I think that they are all so adorable.
