Here are three little Scottish porcelain birds figurines. The Oyster Cathcher with the long orange beak was made at Highbank Pottery in Arygll, Scotland and the other two werhe made at Arran Pottery. These potteries specialized in these fine stylized models of animals native to Scotland and are made fine porcelain - with a matt finish. They are finely modelled and very delicate so easily damaged. All the ones that I am listing as in excellent, undamaged condition.
The two made at Arran Pottery are the Gannet and the Golden Eye. These are just such fine models - perhaps better than the Highbank examples
Arran Pottery was founded in the early 1970s by the enowned Scottish potter Alastair Dunn. Like Highbank, the pottery began producing porcelain miniatures and wildlife figures from the workshop at Kings Cross on the Isle of Arran.
All three of the little birds in my photographs are part of this listing. I am pricing these at £15 each item. A very fair price for this collectable Scottish birds.
