This little figurine was made at the Isle of Arran Pottery. It is one of the Scottish porcelain birds that were made by Alastair Dunn at Arran.
In the early 1970s, Alastair Dunn began producing these fine miniature porcelain models at his pottery studio on the Isle of Arran. He continued to make these models throughout the 70s until his death in 1986. They were popular with tourists to Arran and are now much sought after by collectors.
This is a really adorable model of a puffin. It is a larger example of porcelain model in this range and it measures 4 1/4 inches in height.
