This is little "starter group" of hand-painted early 20th century Bough Pottery plates. They were all painted by Richard Amour (and signed on the base of each), as photographed.
Each item is fully marked to the reverse, as photographed.
The yellow plate is just under 7 inches in diameter
The green plate is 8 inches in diameter
and the red plate is in 7 inches diameter.
CONDITION: In good condition for Bough pieces now 90 years old - with no chips or cracks. I am listing them at £50 for the set of three plates.
HISTORY. Bough Pottery was founded by Elizabeth and Richard Amour in the 1920s. They specialized in decorating blanks - which they bought in from pottery companies in England and Scotland (many from Maling Pottery, Newcastle).
