This is another pretty piece of Victorian Scottish pottery. It was made by Robert Heron & Sons / Methven Pottery / Links Pottery, Kirkcaldy.
It is one of a group of antique Scottish pottery vessels in this attractive pattern that I have for sale online.
This is a very simple pair. We have on offer a wee milk jug or creamer and an open sugar bowl.
Both are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. Nice and clean inside and great for use or display.
Dimensions: Milk Jug height to the top of the spout is 2 1/2 inches. From handle to spout it is just under 4 inches. The sugar bowl is just over 4 inches in diameter and with a height of 2 1/2 inches.
Robert Methven Heron was the owner of the Fife Pottery in Kirkcaldy. He introduced a new pottery range called Wemyss Ware in 1882.
It is certainly a very fresh hand-painted pattern.
