This is a nice little traditional Scottish Celtic penannular brooch.
It is hallmarked to the back for Edinburgh with the mark H.W & S (Henry Wright & Son).
It is dated for 1957.
It has some very attractive Celtic designs on the front.
It is in lovely condition - the pin is 4.8 cm in length and the diameter at the widest point is roughly 4 cm.
It will be sent in a simple little card gift box - a fair price for this nice piece of vintage Scottish jewellery - look great pinned on a little black cap or hat - or holding a dark scarf in place.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF PENNANULAR BROOCH / CLOAK PIN:
Open the cloak pin so that the pin is pointing in the opposite direction to the hole in the ring.
Stick the pin through the cloth and then back out again so that the pin is held in place by the cloth.
Close the cloak pin all the way so that the end of the pin passes through the ring.
Turn the ring though 90 degrees.
