Vintage Scottish silver jewellery by Ola Gorie is now highly collectable.
This is certainly a stunning brooch designed by her in the 1980s. This larger size pendant has been designed and manufactured by Ola Gorie of Orkney. It is stamped with the maker's marks near the edge on the back: OMG and with a tiny and an Edinburgh hallmark.
The pendant takes the form of a traditional St Magnus Cross and it is set with a raised amber coloured Scottish agate.
It is quite large in scale and measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter (4 cm). It has a wee safety chain to double secure your brooch - the wee chain is original to the brooch and is 3 inches in length.
In excellent vintage condition, with no damages.
