These are sought-after jugs by Villeroy and Boch. It is the 1980s Granada design which was in production for only 3 years, 1983 - 1986.
On offer here is a larger jug together with the smaller lidded one, as photographed.
Each of my jugs has a red glossy glaze which turns darker (almost black) towards the rim and handles A great Christmas (or indeed Valentine's) colour - for serving festive treats. Like all Villeroy and Boch ceramics - they are much sought-after quality items.
The larger jug is 15 cm in height. The diameter of the base is 11 cm - and from handle to spout it is 18 cm. I am listing this large jug at £20
The smaller jug comes with a lid with an attractive looped handle. From base to top of the knop on the lid - it is 14 cm. The main body height of the just is 11 cm. The diameter of the base is 9 cm. From handle to spout it is 14.5 cm I am listing that one at £20.
They are both in perfect condition with no damage of any kind. They would have original had a gold paper sticker on the base (see my bowls) - but this is no longer present.
I am listing my collectable Granada pieces at a very fair price.
