This is an unusual set of three large glass storage jars or sweetie / biscuit jars.
They are nice vintage ones - dating to around the late 1980s but looking back to earlier Art Deco for inspiration.
They are each made of thick moulded clear glass - and have thin perspex bung lids - two lids are in bright olive green and another in chocolate brown - each has a large clear plastic disc handle, as photographed.
The underside of the lid has an etched signature: Morgan (again as photographed) which I suspect must be the manufacturer.
I think that these are very possibly American in origin and the dynamic shape reminds me a little of ceramic Fiesta pitchers. Never seen another set of them.
Hope that my photographs do these old jars justice - they were rather tricky to photograph with all the reflections. They are all in excellent damage free condition.
Each jar is in perfect condition with no damages and measures 8 x 7 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Unpacked each is 1.2 kg.
They would look great on display in a kitchen or shop with brightly coloured contents - or for more basic staples such as rice or pasta.
I am pricing these on their rarity and size at £40 each - UK posting only - which would be with Parcelforce48 - this would cost £10.
Have only one set of these - so when they are gone, they are gone!
