his is a lovely little set of vintage Swedish glass bowls or bon-bon dishes.
There are three on offer here - in different colours deep purple, dark blue, and emerald green. The green one has a paper label on it for Aseda Glass, Sweden. Each bowl has a chunky clear glass foot - to resemble melting ice.
The bowls were designed by Bo Borgstrom.
Aseda Glasbruk was founded in Sweden in 1947. Borgstrom began designing glass for Aseda in 1960. Aseda became part of the Royal Krona Group in 1974, which sadly went bankrupt in 1977.
These 1960s pieces of Swedish glass are much sought after - they are in excellent vintage condition with no damage. Very pretty little set to serve little nibbles upon at a cocktail party - you could possibly also use them as large champagne coups.
Very pretty - and sold at a fair price. Great wee group to add to your collection.
Each bowl measures 4 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches in height. The clear foot section has a diameter of 2 1/2 inches.
